Specs for Exclusive Email Blast
There are a few available options for the exclusive email blast -- we have created a couple set templates that can accommodate your message or a you can use an email creation system to create your own template.
One thing to note is we want to keep the content fresh. We don't support sending the same message multiple times as when this is done we tend to see an increase in unsubscribes. We also want to discourage sending the same exact email via ProBrewer that has been or will be sent to other lists as this leads to email fatigue and increased unsubscribes as well.
Setup Details We Need:
Email subject line: 150 characters max
Pre-Header line -- this is seen in the email preview in many email clients: 200 characters max
Email address(es) to send approval tests to.
OPTION 1: Pre-Made Template 1 - single message:
A simple all purpose template that easily adapts to your promotional message.

Below are the data items needed for this template -- match up the names below with the layout of the template to see where the exist in the design.
Company Logo -- Max height 150px - Max width 600px - jpeg, png image
Main Image -- 600px max width -- keep it shorter to allow the title to appear above the fold.
Title -- Introductory title
Body Text -- text for the body -- can include links. 1-3 paragraphs -- think of this as a short details article, not an all encompassing Wikipedia entry. The goal is to get the reader to click the link so lead them toward that action.
Button Color -- Button color for the main action link (web hex color or Pantone color)
Button Text -- the text to appear in the button
Button Link -- where to take the reader when they click on the button
OPTION 2: Pre-Made Template 2 - multiple products:
This template allows a single call out item and multiple secondary, smaller items. Good for showcasing products, events, services, etc.
Below are the data items needed for this template -- match up the names below with the layout of the template to see where the exist in the design.
Colors -- outer color and inner color (Web hex colors or Pantone colors needed)
Company Logo -- Max height 150px - jpeg, png image
Title -- Introductory title
Secondary title -- smaller text, right below the main title
Feature 1 details -- the main featured item:
Image -- 200px wide exact size - height 200-400px
Details -- text - 1-3 paragraphs of text about the item
Button "Action" text -- Text for the button
Button "Action" link -- where to link the reader to when they click
Feature 2 details -- looks best with an even number of items, max of 6 before it gets too long. For each item we need:
Item Image -- jpeg, png image - 200px x 150px exact size
Title -- item title (short)
Detail text -- Short detail sentence
Button "Action" - text for the button and where to link it to
More Detail - This section is where you can detail your company statement, etc. Include the details for the company address, social media links, etc. Includes a link to the company site or landing page for this campaign.
Email contact - include a link to preferred contact -- email, phone, etc.
OPTION 3: Make your own:
You can use an email creation site that you already use like Mailchimp, etc. to create the email either yourself or with the help of a designer. With approval of this design we can convert that to our system and send it.
There are a number of services that offer email campaign editors -- allowing you to create a custom email or an email from a template to send via the ProBrewer Exclusive Email Blast -- here are a few suggestions:
Note: there may be an extra charge for the make your own option as it will need to be converted to our system -- which usually means recreating it in our email campaign editor.
Very Important: Please test your HTML email by sending it to yourself using as many different email accounts and email programs as possible before sending to us. Pay extra attention to mobile clients as those can be some of the most restrictive.Related Articles
